I am the fool who dreams, so this movie will always be the reason I will not stop dreaming. It came at the exact right time and I will be forever grateful for that. The music is incredibly delicate and beautiful and fitting and just *chef's kiss*. Damien Chazelle hit a nerve with this movie and Emma Stone's monologue in Boulder is what I regularly fall back to and even if I don't have a Ryan Gosling to tell me to get my shit together I think of Sebastian and Mia and how their lives turned out. The story might be fiction but I see my truth in it and moreso, my future. AND of course the DVD is signed beautifully by Linus Sandgren which was one of my favorite interactions with the film industry yet.
